Hello Friends, Sean here, I have had a rough time last year. About two years ago, I lost my job as a janitor for a small family-owned building, was let go as a mutual agreement, partly because of this pain in my stomach, (also having problems going to the bathroom), I've had this pain for a long time, and was getting worse as time went by. I finally got up the money to see a doctor, he pointed me to an oncologist and they found that I had some sort of blockage in my colon, later being diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, a damn tumor leeching off my body, blocking my waste.

So, I have been on chemo therapy, after I had surgery (I defecate in a bag now, great), for a year (a heavy treatment).

Happy to say the tumor in my colon has shrunk to a pea, but I'll be defecating in a bag and be on maintenance chemo (a less heavy treatment) for the rest of my life possibly, Que Sera Sera. 😑

Anyway, I've been stuck at home ever since, my bones are weaker than before and my "Stoma" (TLDR: a cut up and tied together piece of my Colon) is bigger than normal ones, also, my immune system is compromised because of the treatment. I'm out of work and stuck in one place. (especially now, damn.)

Due to Neuropathy from the chemo, it's been hard doing art and animation. Some days are better than others, getting flare ups, which make my fingers numb and sometimes hurt when I do things such as drawing, painting, ext. The chemo makes me drowsy, too.

It blows, hard. 😢

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be pitied or am asking for handouts (I’m shutting down my Patreon, giving back any money anyone may have donated), or for anyone to feel sorry for me. There are people in this world that have it way worse than me.

I'm lucky, all things considered. 👍

On Neuro flare-ups, I make music, and lots of it. I'm getting closer to finishing an album I started before all this went down. I will advertise the hell out of this when uploaded. (Yes, here is the youtube that I'll be posting the full album version, then single versions on that channel and here in the audio section.) It will be 20 tracks of me trying to capture my love of Prog Rock/Spacey Funk/Noir type Film Scores/Dark/Electro/Hip-Hop Beats. Yeah, all that strange craziness for your ears to listen.

The album title is: "METAL DREAMS OF METAL FIENDS: THE COSMIC MONSTER'S TALES OF CRIMINAL-MINDED A.I."

On the subject of my YouTube Channel, SelfPityEntertainment, I regret to say I have very little interest in continuing my motion comics, I will try to push myself to finish the last old Mask comics, (Toys in the Attic) but it may take a long while. (I know it's been about 2 years, I think. I'll be posting a video of me reading this post soon)

I’m not completely abandoning the motion comics, but I am going to be running at a sloth’s pace getting them done. My mood swings from music to art, as that is my own way of staving off depression, it's good meditation.

I'm sorry for the wait but personal, mental and physical health, comes first, you understand, I hope.

I'm trying to mostly work on original/silly content for all of my subs, as that makes me happier than doing other people’s work, (I love crafting audio for them, though, that being the only creative bits aside from doing the animation and overall editing) hopefully you'll be entertained and understand my need and wants for what I’ll be posting and the reasons why.
